My name is Mira meaning "beauty". I'm 16 years old and I will be junior (11th) this September. I was born in Seoul, Korea on June 19, 1982 usually a graduation day for seniors. I grew up in Korea and spent my elementary years in there. I moved in here (L.A.) as I entered the junior high, Hale Middle School.

I love my family, friends, relatives, and teachers. They say that I'm very sensitive because I both cry and laugh a lot. Sometime, they say I look serious because I don't talk that much. However they also say that I'm nice because I help them with a love.

I learned taekwondo for about 5 years in Korea when I was much younger. Even though I don't remember anything now, I used to play piano, too. Now I'm trying to learn to play flute to join the marching band at school and I'm also interested in learning to play drum just because it seems fun. I play tennis and golf. I took tennis class for a year, then tried out for the tennis team the following year. Even though I was in junior varsity, I think that was a good experience for me to join an activity at school. I started to learning golf since few months ago when my dad once took me to the golf club in Griffith Park and I had a chance to really try it out. Ever since then, I always follow him to learn both a golf and the LIFE.

My favorite colors are silver & white and that is why I love to wear jewelry and would also like to have a silver car. On my last birthday (sweet sixteen !!), most of my friends gave me jewelry for the presents. I collect various coins starting from $ coin to even won (Korean coin). I also collect different stamps and pretty pictures or poster cards, usually a picture of nature.

I love to listen to all different kinds of music. Most of the times, I listen to Korean music. I usually record all the favorite songs from the radio on a tape so that I can listen to all my the songs whenever I want. I like rainy day and snows. I really miss how I had fun playing with snow in Korea since I never see the snow around here unless I go to Big Bear. I like guys who is sweet hearted, but also strong or tough enough to stand up both for me and himself, a guy who only loves me.

On the other hand, I don't like to talk on the phone for a long time. I almost never just call people unless I have something to ask or tell people. I also don't like mouse and big birds. I used to like birds but ever since I saw a bird hit by the car, I can't help myself imagining that nasty bird.

I speak English, Korean, and little bit of Japanese (2nd year at school). It's fun to speak in few different languages especially when someone doesn't even know what I'm talking about. I'm planning to speak as many languages as possible if I can. My favorite subject is math and I don't like history the most. I like to read and write poems. I really can't draw well, but I can write pretty.

I used to want to be a ballerina, then a teacher, and then a lawyer. Now I want to either work something related to mathematics or commercial & graphic arts. Since my goals are constantly changing, I really can't pick one career that I want to work on. But I'm sure that I will go into an university with some scholarship if possible, have a nice boyfriend since I never had one in my life, get a part time job as a dolphin trainer, buy a house, and travel some of gorgeous places like Europe, Australia, or other places.
